Very light , transparent ruby. Sour cherries and iodine with subtle spices. Fresh and light with cherry fruit , soft tannin and a salty mineral finish. Like a very mineral Trousseau . Abv. 11%.

Drink a fino but hallucinate a red. This persistently salty, minerally, red-fruited wonder was shockingly mid+ weight with full, round mouthfeel at….11.5%. No typo. Dreamy stuff.

Quite an unusual wine. Flavor profile similar to an Oregon PN but with more weight. A distinct saline note with a volcanic influence that reminds me of Mt. Etna reds. Certainly different but a good experience overall, 4* for unusual, 3* for overall quality.
