2014 vintage. Such a great wine. Plum, dark cherry, and roses on the nose. Cherry soda and blood orange on the tongue.

New grape for me. Light on its feet, herbal and cherry. Good stuff. #pizzasunday

This was a lovely bottle of wine made from a rare grape. It paired quite nicely with turkey lasagna. A fruity, floral nose, and flavors of cherry and herbs on the palate. It's always nice to open bottles like this! 100% Vermentino Nero. 1/15/23.

Interesting red Vermentino. 12.5% and easy to drink. Opened up with food and time. Couldn't see the color.

Awesome find. Herbal, light earthiness, cherry, smooth, and soft tannins.

Superb oddball grown along the northernmost reaches of the Tuscan coast. Opens with bright acidity like wild raspberries & bing cherries, but as this Vermentino Nero catches air, plums, a kiss of figs, and savory herbs emerge with very fine & mellow tannins. Worth hunting down!
