Showing some maturing aromas of candied orange peel and black tea, touch of autumn, pine and grand marnier, and drying rose. Incredibly concentrated, viscous with a velvety feel, orangey palate with tar and red licorice, strange nutty note on finish, very intense...but a bit hot . 2003 vintage.

Very much in the drinking window. No flaws. Long finish, plenty of fruit, tannins softening, good acidity.

An explosion of flavors. Deep, powerful, every sip like a shotgun of Nebbiolo. More tannic and "wild" than the 01 I'd say. Fossati & Case Nere of La Morra seem a perfect couple here. 04 gives them a great typical La Morra fusion: Delicate, rather feminine but with an amazing deepness/concentration and energy.
