Yellow gold color on the core.fresh yellow apple, minerality(not striking minerality but it blended well with fruity aroma), hint of almond, lemon on the nose. Med body, high acid, med intensity, well balanced fruit sugar, acidity and minerality comes together. Ripen yellow apple, yellow peach flavor with long finish of minerality. Drunk with mozzarella di bufala, margherita cooked in vesuvio thing. Food, glass, versatile wine. Complex and delicious. 14%(!) abv

Sweet and syrupy but great for a hot summer day.

2013 vintage. Medium lemon hue. Served very cold, so a little closed. Smells and tastes like Viognier, with hints of almond paste and chalk. Full bodied, big wine on the palate, with medium plus alcohol. Good concentration and medium plus acidity. Nice long lingering finish. Taste of peach stone on mid-palate. Would like to try this in 5 years to see how it develops.
