Outstanding. Drinks like a southern Italian take on chenin. Some viscosity balanced by plenty of cut. Crisp and honeyed, fresh green apple and pear, fennel, white pepper, crushed white stone, saline. Great right out of the gate

From the spiritual home of the Fiano grape - Campania in Italy which is the area around Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Also grown in Sicily. The wine is pale yellow in the glass. Aromas of freshly sliced green apple and herbs. Same descriptors on the zesty palate with lively acid. A very polished white wine with good palate weight of medium plus intensity. You could cellar this for a couple more years if desired but right now hits the sweet spot for my palate.

Campania love with Montevetrano 1995 & 1996 after the Quintodecimo Exultet Fiano. All beautiful. 1996 bay leave, juniper, red currant, 1996 - smooth, vintage leather, rose, dried porcini ... so fun to taste together

Lovely smoky, floral Fiano nose. Full-bodied and rich, with -maybe- just enough acidity. Would have enjoyed this more were it less heavy: it's pushing 14%, and, as the Italians would say, "stucchevole." Hard to have more than a glass. Bottle is heavy, too.

What an unexpected and stunning fiano at eight years old.

Ethereal, floral, fleshy fruit. Super acidity. A supremely fresh and lasting wine.

I love, love, loved the 2011. I thought the 2012 was okay. Kind if middle if the road on this 2013.
