Nose is fresh blueberry juice. Earth. Savory. Hint of licorice. Panoply of spices. Black peppercorn. A hint of clove. Licorice flowers. A lovely balance between dark Aglianico and perfume. Incredibly expansive aromatics.
An hour in nose becomes psychotic. So cliche I know but Aglianico in burgundy. Deep crushed Violets. Some lilac. So sensual. High end perfume.
Palate is spice. Delicious blueberries. Silky texture. Blueberry blueberry flower. Blueberry licorice. Much more volnay like than typical Aglianico. Much lighter and more feminine. Perfect plate cling. So juicy. So elegant. The Most Burgundian aglianico I’ve had.
Finish is so Elegant. Blueberry perfume.
