Azienda Agricola Guccione
C Catarratto
Grown in the northwest of Sicily on 'terre brune' soil (rusty brown terroir of clay, chalk & iron). Guccione uses the noble Catarratto Extralucido clone here. Vinous wine, intens citrus & deeply salt. All with an intriguing edgyness. 'C' stands for the Cerasa vineyard. Fermented & aged for one year in tini (acacia wood cask of 3000 liter).
