Was hoping for an incredible bottle from an outstanding producer…may have had a bad bottle..had minimal expression of what it should be…never evolved and died an early death..unfortunate…

Gorgeous wine…in a great spot at this time…ripe cherries, mint, floral/herbal with richness and acid, long finish…

Absolutely incredible after about 25 mins …deep cherry, rich mid palate, with herbs/floral notes…touch of balsamic, oregano, nothing overshadowed other elements…incredibly well balanced…need more of these in my life..

What a treat. Aged to perfection. Unity.

I don’t have a good foundation for Chianti and have been told I need to kiss a lot of frogs. This was no frog.
