Bright cherry nose. Little muted. Dusty minerals as well. Coming alive with black cherry and nice layering. Palate is juicy. Man is this juicy. A mouthful of puppy like fruit and huge acidity. But lots of fruit to back it up. Wow. Very impressive wine. Just beautiful purity and fruit. What a showing. Terrific vivid tangy black cherry fruit and mineral contrast. Terrific.

Jan 30th, 2021Great Monday night wine. Spice, cherry, cassie, nice round nose, ripe and juicy with nice earthiness throughout and terrific structure and grip. As it airs it becomes more densely fruited.

Solid weeknight Sangiovese. Nose has mineral dusted cherry, plum skin, powdered sugar. Palate is full of ripe cherry, wet leather and minimal influence from tannins. Brief decant ~30m.

Wow. Dusty plum on the palate with terrific acidity. Really vibrant. Fresh licorice. Nose is amazing. Better than the palate. I may be drinking this too young but it’s 20 bucks so sue me. Nose is licorice and plum. Such sweet fruit in the finish. I had this with sausage and peppers because it’s inexpensive and has good fruit. But this can hang with $40 wines (blind) I hope I didn’t drain it all. Should be even more interesting in 3 years. Serious structure. Bought fro fass selections.
