As always, a tremendous value. More delightful with food but good on its own.

16+. Clear, not much legs, M intensity. Lots of red fruit. No wood. Good acidity, fresh. Drink cool, could have with fish.

Already browning into a mahogany Hue after only a few years in the bottle. Nose of cranberry and sharp white pepper, with delicate violet and biting pepper on the palate. Sharp metallic acidity with dry, abundant tannins. Medium minus body. High alcohol. Not for me.

Haven’t had much from Azelia which is why I was curious. A solid langhe Nebbiolo, especially at $23 in today’s world. Definitely on the lighter side, but still good fruit and acid with a whisper of tannin. Nice with pork chops, especially with a slight chill
