Layers of toasty oak, tobacco, cassis. Tannins are initially confronting but start to soften and flesh out after 20minutes in the glass. Beautiful wine, many more years of life yet.

Fresh fruit(more sweeter fruit than barolo), hay, sandy dust, lovely gentle perfume on the nose. Tons of acacia on the first palate followed by dried cherry flavor. Med plus acid, med plus tannin, balanced wine.
