I’m normally not a big Italian wine enthusiast, but this caught my attention. Neither overly tart or overly light, this showed killer sweet fruit notes of blueberries and candied black cherries with vanilla pipe tobacco and cocoa dusted dates. Tar, rose petal, and a kiss of sweet oak on the palate. Very smooth. I’m sure this will age well.

A wonderful Barolo . Tastes like the perfect marriage between a burgundy and a Bordeaux red. Smooth and complex, with along finish .
