Outstanding effort. There are many reasons why this wine is spectacular, but aside from the Atlas Peak fruit, I love that they have held these back and aged them before release. The nose is powerful full of cigarbox and espresso, and baking spices. The pallet defines balance, exhibiting notes of red plum and blueberries, cinnamon, mocha, vanilla bean, and a gorgeous lingering finish. This is a goal that Napa Cabs should strive for, not too over extracted, the right tannins, and use of Oak not to hide everything else great about the
Wine.

I swore up and down this was corked but was assured it was tasting as is- in that case quite "dusty". Mothballs.

2008. Medium clarity. Needs a good decent. Been holding onto these bottles for a while- three more to go! Compliments 8 different cheeses and the Fleet Week air show. Also, Kim Stanbro’s company makes everything smell, look, and taste better. She rocks so damn hard.

Bouquet is a rush of soft cedar and white pepper. Deep dark currant, black pepper spice and mild oak mix together for a well balanced medium bodied finish. Nice soft tannins.
