Aug 28th, 2017One of the best Tuscan merlots I can think I've had. Extremely inviting creme de cassis, ripe blackberries, cedar closet, menthol on nose. Dark fruit, baking spices, extracted black tea on palette. Developed nicely over course of a few hours. Finish is somewhat rustic and unlike the aroma or taste but give sense of place and I think will soften over time.
