Aveleda 2012 Albariño - $8.00/glass, poured by Stephanie, bitter lemon, lots of citrus, key lime, pineapple, med (+) body and acid, peanut (some kind of nut) on finish, alcohol feels higher than actual 12.5

Pleasing wine. Wish the finish was longer. Lemon zest, grapefruit, hint of apricot, earth, fresh herbs and flowers.

Almost like a Riesling vinho verde, mineral, floral, diesel, herbaceous

Très bon. Sec, franc, droit.. léger agrume, pétillant, fleurs blanches et fruits de la passion (mais on dirait la pomme verte). SAQ Cellier

Fine pairing w/brussel sprouts w/Majool dates drizzled with maple syrup.

Another Vinho Verde: crisp and refreshing. does not however, pair well with meats and is much better enjoyed as am apéritif or with cheese.

Aromas of lemon balm and lime zest. I like that there is not a markable amount of effervescence on the palate. The fruit is upfront with loads of citrus peel. Nice value.

Lovely white wine paired with salmon & chicken.

Wonderful wine that fits our budget and is very pleasing to the palette.
