Perfect paired with a spicy pizza on a cold winter’s night. Yeah yeah, I know—vinho verde is summer in a glass, but that’s exactly why I love it in the off-season!

I don’t love white wine but was feeling something light. This is very crisp, apple, pear.

Great white table wine. Mildly avidic for a vinho verde. Olivia had a tasting at Total Wine and brought it home. Super duper value for $10. Only 9.5% ABV

Tasty and bright — great candidate for day drinking! Pair it with spicy food in winter and you won’t be sorry.

Quite bright, but upon swallowing does not linger at all, which was interesting. A little fizzy. I can see this working with a fresh, light appetizer, a ceviche, a Thai noodle, etc. Maybe silly to say but I really do get a lot of “white grape” flavour, and I really notice the residual sweetness.
