A bit dilute. Perfume is more herbal than floral. Opened up in the glass.

Cuvée/Grand Cru from this family winery. 2016 was a great vintage for Barolo, back when you still had snow on the ground in early October. For the past three years the lack of snow/cold weather has really made harvesting extremely challenging in this region, to say the least. This specific bottle however shows a spectacular version of Barolo with rose petals, cherry, licorice, a bit of old leather, a classically delicate style of Barolo for sure. Showing signs of integration with softer tannins and a prolonged finish. Cheers.
