Curiosity got the best of me as I was curious if I wanted to buy any of these with the January allocation getting close. This has a beautiful color to it...red and purple blend with translucence. Baking spices, black cherry, cola and birch wood on the nose. High acidity on the palate. There was a slight maple note on the front palate which turned to a candied blackberry and cranberry note on the mid palate and finish, which balanced tart and sweet fruit. This is nimble and not overbearing, but I believe Rivers-Marie is the better QPR winner here.

Very slightly opaque ruby red color. Delicate floral cherry & raspberry nose. Medium bodied, beautiful raspberry & cherry to taste with a trace of aromatic cedar. Smooth and delicious. Celebrating a good day!

I know the Aubert Pinots can be controversial, but this was pretty lovely. Nice black cherry with cola and floral accents. Medium-bodied and not at all heavy. Very nice.
