Tried twice. Pale lemon with fruit and barnyard aromas. On the palate ripe stone and citrus fruits, buttery texture with nutty spice notes. Medium finish ending with a creamy texture and wet earthy character. Pricey for this average Meursault.

Star bright pale straw gold. Shy but inviting nose of underripe quince and honey. Medium full palate of said quince and dry honey plus white pepper, balsam, citrus rind, and a firm mineral-driven finish. Minerals and oak! What a pairing! Excellent wine with a variety of foods from fresh seafood to fried chicken to roasted veggies to flavorful cheeses. A wonderful introduction to Mersault and lightly oaked White Burgundy. Drink now through 2027.
