CVed 9/3/17 3 Pinot comp. Surprising fresh with deep ruby color. Nose of Forest and hay and dark fruits. Dense and almost chewy body compared to Burg yet very balanced and long complex finish. Very nice. Better than all recent new world Pinot tasted. Opened for Maria wine dinner 5/5/18. Too bad. Nose of sherry oxidation and palate also showed notes of over ripeness. Though easily blended in with food, this unfortunately showed the effect of CV with well-used needle and old cork, and cork broke apart during opening.
