One of my favorite reds I have tried in a while. Very earthy but not funky. More savory and benefits from wild game.

Cranberry, pepper and black tea nose. Cranberry, strawberry, cedar, and oak on the palate with the cranberry dominating the moderate acid finish. Nicely balanced and smooth after decanting.

2012 vintage. Our first ever Hungarian wine, very unbalanced, tannic and aromatically challenged. Perhaps, it was too young.
