Dark plum with raspberry and hint of spice. Bitter notes follows the final sip. Based on the Wines profile, American oak would offer the wood element in the wine.

Saddleleather, currants, raspberries and pine in the nose. The palate has some components of the nose - saddle and currant with some hay. Disjointed with the acid and alcohol being a little too high.

My first wine from Tennessee. Light ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas and flavors of dark cherry, plums, cranberry black tea and graphite. Medium length and body. Ripping acidity but somewhat out of balance. A bit hot and slightly reductive on the finish. Thanks for sharing, Uncle Jeff.

Overpriced or underwhelming for the price, but that's Arrington for you. Drinks well with roasted meat (we had lamb) and hearty vegetables. Nice and dry with solid tannins and great body.
