Arnot-Roberts
Sanford & Benedict Vineyard Chardonnay

This is a bit different than the Watson and Trout Gulch. More rounded and less acid driven. More stone fruit. Delicious but a little unexpected in style.

Absolutely beautiful. Could be mistaken for grand cru Chablis. Mineral and lemon. When this warmed up to room temperature it revealed layers of flavor and texture. Raw, unripe almonds, a little bit of citrus. Very little oak, if any.

Chablis-esque in character. Medium bodied, somewhat mineral, with stone fruit and citrus. A hint of bitterness in the finish.

Tasted blind: Neutral nose overall, hedges towards stone fruit aromas. Chalky and sweet tart feel, with citrus zest, and high acidity. Zippy finish.
