Arnot-Roberts
North Coast Syrah
Red cherry, plum, boysenberry, cedar, cigar, white pepper, dried meat, dried roses, violets, rosemary, gritty with a full mouth feel. Medium acidity, high tannins. Showing great and I’m sure it can sit down for many years.

Sep 30th, 2019Nice, balanced Syrah. Very food friendly too. Black raspberry, violets, touch of salinity and green peppercorns. Like!

Feb 23rd, 2019Fresh and heady floral notes from whole cluster. Red and black berries. Muted spices and earth. Good structure, smooth tannins.

Oct 29th, 2017Another Arnot-Roberts gem - affordable at $35 and very drinkable now, classic Northern Rhone profile - glad I have more.

At this price point, this was better than some Northern Rhone I've had and yet it does not abandon its sense of place. Serious wine.
