Vineyard is south of trout gulch-1600 feet-planted in 79 and dry farmed-picked at 22-23-100% whole cluster-little stemminess and green note on nose-not on palate-great acid and good ripeness but towards tart fruit side

Duncan and Nathan strike again. This wine was super wound-up upon release, but completely silky and incredibly complex now. Ripe red fruit with dried rose petals and terra cotta. Textural, brilliant.

This bottle has a dot-one point leg up on the Peter Martin Ray from a few weeks ago. There is a freshness, a bright kick that I don’t recall from the PMR. Mouth watering. Tangy. Excellent.

Forgot about this bottled barrel sample deep in the cellar. Fine work from the guys up North! Some whole cluster, loganberry, currant and promising refined but omnipresent tannins. Looking forward to trying a finished wine example!
