Definitely not Austrian, leans a bit to voluptuousness. Very tasty.

Bigger, rounder, more aggressive than I anticipated. Lots of bright, lifted herb notes... medium weight on the palate. Long, lingering finish of lemon and mineral. Luscious and literally mouth- watering; this is a very intriguing food wine... anything off the plancha (think smoked, grilled octopus) would bring full-throated approval!

Wow - what a great surprise! A "typical" gruner from California. A porch pounder and great value to boot
