A complex effort, fruit from 10 vineyards across the appellation, no other winery does that with Nebbiolo, watercolor design on label portrays the shape of these vineyard sites. Ruby with rich bouquet of fruit, spices, leather, and chocolate. On the palate flavors of cherry and ripe raspberry with notes of cinnamon and cacao. Long finish, nice balance with fine firm tannins ending with earthy sweet notes. Enjoyable, will get better!

Nose: blackberries and cherries.
Taste: very juicy, medium body, very high tannins. Blackberries and clay. A little spicy.
It's a wonderful wine, but my preference for lower tannins bumps it down for me.
