Big biscuity nose. Amazing intensity. A bit over the top for me but what u would expect of vintage champagne.

Really fantastic... all of the nuances came out as I let it warm a bit: raw almond, poached pear, green and yellow apples, nice acidity, salted caramel, buttered brioche, and oddly enough a little earthiness on the finish that reminded me of white button mushrooms and white pepper. It was fantastic with a little San Joaquin Gold cheese before we had our dinner. Now I wish we had another bottle.
