This is the “Aspasie” a Brouillet rose 12.5% abv - this maybe one of the darkest rose I’ve had little over the top for me stylistically (wish it was less sweet - still in the Brut range )

On the palate, it approaches full-bodied, and is elegant, and energetic with cherry, strawberry, and hints of mandarin orange, and cranberry flavors. Lingering mineral accented flavors. Blend of 50% Pinot Noir, and 50% Pinot Meunier made from estate grown fruit in Brouillet. Color from 15% an old vine vinified Meunier. 12.5% Outstanding QPR at $35, especially for a Champagne that has been aged 5 years!
