Oct 23rd, 2020Arizona wine! Might be my first. Toasted and roasted nose. Flavors are pretty jammy. Hints of clove to go with the cooked cherry. Bit over handed on the vanilla-smoke sauce from oaking. Silk on the tongue. Has an Italian Barbera or Spanish Granacha and Temp blend style. Not as citrus-y as the lovely hot climate Grenache of Yolo county. It’s not too bad. Similar to the Utah wines I tried it’s just a bit flat.
