Cherry jello, sour cherries and strawberries on the palate with a slight meatiness in the background. A touch of tobacco lets you know it's pinot - but the intensity of the fruit keeps it new world. The palate has lots of acid, but a bit one note in the delivery.

Great Pinot noir. Fruity but quite full bodied and smooth with a bit of oakiness. At Le Grand for St. Patrick's Day after leaving Cogans.
