Estate Bottled Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Classic, smooth and structured Napa mountain cab. Incredible value for $12 at Gross out.

Super dark crimson with wide purple edges. Dried leather, black currant, vanilla cake, and some fine florals all present on the nose. Can you beat mountain fruit? It’s just so damn good and the fruit and soil flavors here elevates this a few notches. Tastes of sweet tobacco, damp forest floor, bright blueberries, and oak dominate. The black currant, cherries, and coffee notes come later after it opens up. The finish is long and silky with plenty of spice. Well structured with beautiful soft tannins, this leaves a lasting impression.

Slow to hatch but turned into a beautiful wine after about an hour. Upfront deep dark dried fruit infused with notes of leather and graphite. Matured tannins fully integrated with the wine gave it a lingering finish and a desire for more. Paired very well with aged gouda cheese and truffle infused salami.

This bottle tasted a bit better than the last one. Not remembering the price point.

At home. Not remembering where this was acquired, maybe a Morton’s locker tasting?

Very rich, dark with tart fruity edge, complex. Layered earthy finish lingering for minutes.

Spicy on nose and taste. I enjoyed it better on night two after the spice cooled down a bit. Wish the fruit would balance off the spice

Good price but it tasted green to me. Too tart for a 10 year old bottle. Even after letting it sit overnight in a decanter it had a bitter green taste

A very nice Napa Cabernet Sauvignon a soft mouth feel and light structure but full of black fruit and sweet spice and a nice finish

Fantastic Cab! Perfectly balanced with berry notes and balanced acid. Very dark in color but drinks much more smoothly. Loved it. Amazing price of $12! It’s a $65 bottle for sure
