The Arcudi Pritchard Hill Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark and lush with lavender and blackberry fruit. Needs more time....need to revisit again in a few years.

Inaugural wine! Black fruit, black cherry, blueberry, chocolate, black currant, violet. Rustic! M acid, M+ tannin, balanced! Black Sears fruit has never disappointed! This wine lives up to the name! Give it a couple more years and it'll be 100 points!

All black cassis with some creamy raspberry, dark chocolate, black licorice, supple spice, soft tannins and pure elegance. A Howell Mtn. beauty from Tony Arcudi who worked under Heidi Barrett for seven years.

Birthday and Father’s Day celebrations. Special treat from a client. Black Sears Vineyard living up to all I have heard. Rich dark fruit, blackberry pie in a glass, soft tannins, a very balanced wine, served with smoked bbq beer can chicken, roasted veggies and potatoes. Spices from the chicken pairing very well. What a nice treat. Well done Mr. Arcudi!

We met Tony Arcudi at Fantesca another wine that he and Heidi Barrett make/consult. Actually, Heidi was there and it was the first time I’ve bumped into her.

The nose reveals; beautiful perfume blue & purple fruits, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, plum, creamy black raspberries, black licorice, soft soils & clay, limestone, violets, blue florals, black pepper, saddle-wood, leather, graphite, light dark spice, and fresh lavender & withering dark perfume florals.

The full body is rich, lush & gorgeous. The structure, tension, length and balance & are in harmony. The wine is seamless. Beautiful perfume blue & purple fruits, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, plum, creamy black raspberries, black licorice, soft soils & clay, limestone, dry crushed rocks, violets, blue florals, black light pepper, saddle-wood, leather, graphite, light dark spice, and fresh lavender & withering dark perfume florals. The round acidity is like a waterfall. The ripe, rich, well balanced finish is beautiful and lasts a couple minutes. Tony was a rising star and now has certainly arrived.

I was given this by a friend. I opened it for fun and wow! It hits the tongue with a dark, elegant, whimsical flare. As it works down the tongue, it turns to silk, while vanishing with an unbelievable finish. This is a wine I'm buying to save because it will only get better! It is a must try!

Tony Arcudi, an amazing up and coming winemaker. The Fruit is from 2400ft elevation with floral aromas with ripe blackberry & cassis. Well structured with good body, length & tannins. Age worthy.
