I think the 2010 vintage of Archery Summit wines is one of the best vintages showcasing the quality of winemaking at Archery Summit. Explosive nose of chanterelle mushrooms, dry forest floor, ripe, Roma tomatoes, with hints eucalyptus, menthol, and the ever-present Dundee Hills Pinot funk. Dark cherries and Italian plums make a soft entry, unfolding into ripe tomatoes, cumin, and fresh cedar, and finishing with peppercorn, portobello mushrooms, and anise root. It's earthy, it's dirty, it's good!
