Soaring aromas of spice and lemon followed by bright acid and structure. Gorgeous texture and a precise, long finish. Seven years old and this is a current release! This is what Chardonnay should be.

This is much more fruit driven than a recently tasted '07. Still restrained for Cali chardonnay, and a lovely match for butter poached halibut.

Paired wonderfully with lemon garlic chicken and mushroom risotto. Not a big Chardonnay fan, but this was delicious.
