Vieilles Vignes Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Rather reticent the first day. Opened up over the course of the second and third nights. Fairly complete for the vintage and enjoyable.

Still high kicking!

Dark brooding fruit. Some gnarly fruit and plum. Balanced and less sweet than others.l but gorgeously approachable. This is wow.

Corked

Lovely and lush dark blackcurrant with a hint of mint, chocolate. Lucid and deep and rich on the palate with a balancing acidity. A super long finish. This is great.

Very intense plums, violets and blackcurrant on the nose. Very poised and rich but lovely balance and plushness. Excellent

I've always been sweet on 1998. This is drinking damn good!

Really delicious! A little pricey for an SB but rich and layered and floral and amazing.

Unicorny. Did you know about the Eisele VV? First time I tasted this 10 or so years ago my brain exploded. It's still in very good shape. 1 barrel a year produced from 91-98. Only from old vines in Block 3, the best corner of Eisele. From magnum. Thanks, Araujo. #harvestpartyunicornshit
