Kalamata olives, deep raspberry fruit, smoke, licorice, anise, vanilla, and a long chalky finish. An excellent Napa Syrah from one of the great estates in the valley.

It’s a tiny bit cloyingly sweet at the front end but pulls it around to finish well. Nice juice!

Perfect Syrah. Tannins rounded with the extra age. Will be interested to see how the 2009 drinks in two or three years.

Great wine, it does not seem like a Shiraz. It is well rounded and the tannins are very mild. Perfect for a quick dinner.
