Oct 18th, 2017My last bottle of 2007! Met Bart & Daphne at a wine dinner years ago, and have always loved their wines. Looking forward to their new offerings from Accendo.

Jul 31st, 2017The last of the first four to celebrate "plus one" Birthday with great friends. Very meaty, crushed rock, dusty cocoa and toasted vanilla. This was an amazing bottle!!

May 10th, 2017Great vintage. Complex, layered and long finish. Still too young but always a treat to taste Araujo. Can't wait to see it in 15-20 years.

Jan 13th, 20241 hour decant(lots of chunky/fine sediment). A monumental dark purplish crimson red color. On the nose: expressive perfumed notes of cherry, sandlewood, smokey vanilla, sweet dirt, licorice, and raspberry. Taste: elegant, soft, smooth, creamy, silky elixir with black cherry, currants, minerals, crushed gravel, and a smokey spiced tar long semi dry finish. YUM! Still has some time to go, but drinks well now with the decant.
