Quite developed, but when your enjoying a 23yr old Eisele at a price that is a fraction of current (Latour) price release it's really quite enjoyable, I don't know if this bottle has been stored in the best of ways, but it's got a great stewy/compote quality that is so Californian.

Original purchase and in our cellar ever since. Definitely developed but still dark red fruit and medium long finish. Showed much better that the 2005 Opus One
