Soft red fruit. Raspberry edged and plush chocolate-edged middle. Settled and lovely

Quite developed, but when your enjoying a 23yr old Eisele at a price that is a fraction of current (Latour) price release it's really quite enjoyable, I don't know if this bottle has been stored in the best of ways, but it's got a great stewy/compote quality that is so Californian.

Almost the number one of the flight...so old world with a flutter of new...this and the 96 were so different than the 99 I had a year ago

Wine of the night 13.4% alc from magnum and has plenty of life.
