Notes of charcoal and honey. Very dry but beautiful. Very close to a California Cab but not as Jamey or big.

Wood and spice jump out of the glass. Eucalyptus and dark fruit layering underneath. Very drinkable and good balance

Simple. But distinctly old world...though it has some similarities to traditional Rioja (American oak?). Anyway, works with the food.

Our first Barbera and we like it! Cherries and spice. A touch of vanilla. So good with steak!

Sun-baked sour cherry, jammy red plum, and a curl of incense show on the nose and palate. Poor acidity and barely-there tannin send this into flabby territory but it's smoothness should mollify those who say they hate red wine.

Very thin. Very little fruit. Ordered it in a pizza restaurant. Thought I'd take a shot. Poor choice. Worth 10.00 but not much more.
