Single Estate Marlborough Pinot Noir

Lots of ripe fruit

Fruit-forward with strawberry and baking spice aromas, tight at first. Zesty red fruits on the palate, polished and round tannins. Easy drinking and after the NZ exchange rate a bargain at $10.

Deep ruby, hot blackberry and apple pie  on the nose, dry, gentle tannins with earthy stewed dark fruits, all very elegant.

Excellent flavour with good body. Dry with a good blend of flavors.

Nice drink and a hint of spice

Surprisingly good pinot, w a hint o liquorice in the strawberry. Looses a little freshness w temp (duh) but very pleasant.

2013 vintage 4/26/18

Light bodied with red cherry and lots of vanilla. Simple but good. $12.

Brought this bad boy to Chile, lugged it around in my suitcase bouncing around for a month before it was opened in Cordoba, Argentina around a camp fire and proper asadito. Argentinean friends were blown away and swore to come to NZ just for their fantastic reds. Well done Ara.

Ripe red fruits, medium acidity, enough tannin to balance the relative sweetness, but still a little flabby. Not trying to complain as this was a supermarket grab in a hurry.
