Apothic
Apothic Crush Smooth California Red Blend

This is a limited release wine. I am not sure of the grapes, maybe a little of whatever they had left! Ruby with dark fruits on a sweet nose. The palate is syrupy sweet that although feels smooth had a bit off taste. Short finish ending with a sweet spice finish. Not for me. Pass. Tasting Sample.

Apothic Crush revisited. Paired with Diavolo chicken, wild rice, and mixed fruit spinach salad. Excellent!
Happy Mothers day.

Another variety in the Apothic red blend lineup. Dark purple color.
Medium tannins, medium acicity, slightly sweet, nice clean finish.
Taste of berry everything, and a touch of vanilla.
An easy drinker, pairs well with grilled beef tenderloin. 14.5% ALC. 2 glasses gave me a buzz.

Mix of Zinfandel, Merlot, and Syrah. Good mix of fruit and dry.

Smooth, jammy, slightly sweet. Great alone and great with food. Good everyday wine.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, wood, licorice, spices, vanilla extract, earth, chocolates, mocha, coffee, smoke and black pepper.
Medium to full bodied and buttery, with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cherries, figs, cloves, herbs, vanilla, oak, spices, chocolates, earth, mocha, peppercorn and tobacco.
Medium finish with round tannins, tangy raspberries and spices.
This Californian Red Blend is simple, but very enjoyable, even by itself. Well balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
A good sipping wine and good for parties, as it is very affordable. A little jammy with an artificial feel, but not bad as a happy hour red.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (30 minutes).
I paired it with light appetizers.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
85 points.
$10.
