Big and powerful with a bit of a chew. Dark berry fruit, licorice, spice and smoke. Medium bodied but this wine is quite bold. Not bad, but texturally seems a bit off.

Has that good dusty, almost vegetal quality you find in South African reds. Could have used a bit more fruit, but a good wine for the $17.
