I do love my wine and food matching which is why last month's #thetcwineclub got me very excited. Alongside the 3 wines picked by moi there were three spice packets from The Spice Trading Co. I picked this Italian Pinot Grigio specifically to go with the 'Holy Chilli Guacamole' and they were a match made in heaven! Being a chilli 🌶 and avo lover - this spice blend was 👌And the wine went down like The Flash too..
It's a lemon lime colour on the eye with crisp citrus, minerality, floral/white flowers and a touch of honey 🍯 on the nose. On the palate it's light yet flavoursome with a welcoming roundness to it. In terms of flavours, I found it a touch vegetal with refreshing citrus and pear 🍐 notes. Definitely a Yes from me.

Light Pinot Grigio
Mellow light yellow colour, all rounder, light florals slight fruit.... almost trying to come out but not distinguished, if you wanted to take a step up from sav Blanc then this is your guiding gal but if you’re a regular Pinot Grigio lover don’t get sucked into the sommelier telling you it’s the best... it’s good value for what it is... but that’s where I’ll leave it then
