Moderate tannins with light body; black cherries; some roasted red pepper

Jul 13th, 2014Generally feels between cab franc and a beaujolais. A funky, fun nose of berries, top soil, and some spice. Good acidity on the palate, medium-bodied, but it has a kind of sour, welch's grape juice type notes on the finish.

Jun 5th, 2015Remarkable wine. Immediately gravel and jammy black fruit dominate the aromatics. Palate has crunchy black fruit, well-balanced, slight chalkiness with a lingering finish and great body.

2011, tannic, darker than I expected. Dry, plenty of acid, still easy drinking.
