Salty deliciousness. Opened at 8am and it was full of ripe, chewy fruit and almost sweet. 11am it smelled of almonds and honey like it could have been an oxidized wine from Jerez. 12pm the saltiness was showing and exhibiting floral and limey flavors. 3pm it was staring to sing and show its strength while still possessing a clean and salty purity. 8pm it needs food and all I could think of was cheese and sardines.

Impressive first encounter with this Corsican native varietal Bianco Gentile. Simmering light to medium golden color and exotic fruits and flowers and stones on nose. Tension and liveliness with good acids and a touch of creaminess on palate carrying through to long finish. What a good first impression! AA 13 value on a Kermit Lynch of 40.

A bit like old Savennières. Hazelnut and quince. A fino sherry note also.

Creamy yellow, gold rimmed. Saltiness on the nose and almost some champagne like toastiness, and hints if oxidation. Ripe chewy fruit on the palate, as well as skinless almonds. Surprisingly high viscosity, almost a touch of sweetness.
