13’ Antica Terra Obelin Pinot Noir.
Maggie Harrison was the assistant winemaker at Sine qua Non. Decanted it for a hour.
Ruby red in color.
Aromas of ripe red cherry, cranberry, rose, sandalwood, spot of earth. The nose sells this Pinot!
Medium weight.
A core of red fruits & ripe cherry. Secondary notes of violets & baking spices throughout the palate. Elegantly styled(somewhat light on its feet) with supple tannins & a robust finish, that builds richness as it opens up in my glass (20 minutes) πŸ€”.
Had to write about it. Another very well-made wine. Cheers to all.

Damit, a great new world Pinot. So rich n complex, so fruity. It’s deep. Halfway, there was a funky note that passed. Yellow n red fruit. Mild, perfectly balanced tannins.

Really super average, and a terrible QPR. Apparently this is all Shea, but more density then fruit here and very little delineation.

Fresh Bell pepper and holy blueberry. One of the most refreshing reds ive had out of Willamette. Some earth content, but not the initial taste and feeling. The fresh fruit is amazing.
