Sonoma Coast Syrah

A bit more rustic, lots of traditional syrah character. Full of rust, meat, and earth and will continue to gain complexity for a few more years.

This is a great wine for the money.

Lots of smoke, some herbs, some olives. Drinks nicely with a touch of air. Enjoyable, good QPR, but not very memorable.

This was a gorgeous Syrah. Beautiful flavor with hints of spice and earth with limited tannins.

Ok - blueberry mostly - but a little light on its feet and some barnyard after 24 hours. The problem side by side with the 2015 Arnot-Roberts Sonoma Coast this one does not stack up. Different vintage though.

This Syrah is so pleasurable on the nose and palate. The combination of fruit & savoriness exceed all the benchmarks of an excellent Syrah. A couple of bottles left, I'll hold on to them to see how they hold up.
