Dec 30th, 2014Serious and more interesting style of Alvarinho, 12 hours of maceration in contact with the grape skin, this fresh wine get more flesh and is more appealing than some Vinho Verde which tend to be light sparkling - a new wave of more modern and creative Vinho Verde producers are on the move and they bring so much original and unique characters, great wine 😉

This is so good! Bracing acidity to balance out the body. It's a case worthy summer wine. No need for NZ Sauv Blanc this summer!

Feb 16th, 2014Premium vinho verde from #Portugal. A fresh bouquet of citrus, peach and white flowers, the palate add the hallmark saline or salty note. The same grape in Spain is Albariño, though for the $ this is fantastic at about $15-20. Should be an insane pairing with shellfish but was an aperitif for us.
