I love my straight Semillon’s which is why I picked this little pocket rocket for one of #thetcwineclub boxes from @the_wine_gallery . @thomaswines is from the Hunter Valley which undoubtably is the home to amazing, world class Semillon’s. On the bottle you’ll see ‘Broke-Fordwich’ which is the subregion and Andrew Thomas heads up the brand. He specialises particularly in Semillon and Shiraz.

It’s a vibrant yellow with a hint of lime on the eye. It’s like a tropical fruit salad on the nose with interesting whiffs of spiced citrus. The palate is laced with juicy pears, a hint of spice and a vibrant, fresh citrus burst. We had it by itself however I think it’d make for a very food friendly wine.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #sample #tcweekdaywine
